Programme Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all training programmes, workshops, coaching, and leadership development services provided by Can Do Academy.
Booking and Payment
A place on the programme is confirmed once your application has been accepted and payment (or any agreed deposit) has been received.
Programme fees must be paid by the agreed payment date unless an alternative payment arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
Programme Delivery
Lighthouse Global Network reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme content, speakers, facilitators, venues, or schedules where necessary, provided the overall quality and objectives of the programme are maintained.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants are expected to:
- Attend sessions punctually
- Respect fellow participants and facilitators
- Maintain confidentiality where appropriate
- Participate in a professional and respectful manner
Lighthouse Global Network reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate without refund.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your place, the following refund policy applies:

5 months or more before programme start | 100% refund less £50 administration fee |
4 months before programme start | 75% refund less £50 administration fee |
3 months before programme start | 50% refund less £50 administration fee |
2 months before programme start | 25% refund less £50 administration fee |
Less than 2 month before programme start | No refund |
Transfer of Booking
If you are unable to attend, we will endeavour to transfer your booking to an alternative programme where available.
A transfer fee of £50, together with any difference in programme fees, will apply.
Transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Cancellation by Lighthouse Global Network
If we need to cancel or postpone a programme due to circumstances beyond our control or insufficient enrolment, participants will be offered either:
- a transfer to a future programme; or
- a full refund of fees paid.
Our liability is limited to the programme fees paid and does not extend to travel, accommodation, loss of earnings, or other associated costs.
Intellectual Property
All programme materials remain the intellectual property of Lighthouse Global Network and are provided for the participant’s personal use only.
They may not be copied, reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
While we make every effort to provide high-quality leadership development, we do not guarantee any particular personal, professional, or organisational outcomes.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the programme, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Photography and Recording
From time to time, photographs or video recordings may be taken during programme sessions for promotional or educational purposes. Participants will be informed in advance and may opt out if they do not wish to appear in such materials.
Force Majeure
Lighthouse Global Network shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, pandemics, industrial disputes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
Privacy
Any personal information collected during registration or participation will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
